Sink O Death

Met up with Ninja, Doom, Fishslap, Bassman, Dave, Trish.   started out well, I got 2 perch @ 11.75" and a couple 9.5'ers. Slap got a 10"and we all got many perch piles.
I hiked the long way that was stupid but good exercise. :D

It was a warm fun day on the ice.

yes i did. I had a reason, but it didn't pan out.  Hiking is good for you! ;D

How's the ice there? 2.5 hour drive for me and I am always solo! Last time I may have pushed it? Walked in long way and came back on the ice feeling nervous! I bailed 100 yards from dam! Might go tomorrow or Wednesday?

mtnhillbilly I have never been there but was also thinking of going. Worried about the warm temps and high winds predicted next couple days plus I would also be solo.

Use EXTREME caution on front range ice this week.  Steadily rising temps each day, winds, with 72F called for this Friday.  Nighttime temps won't get down below freezing again until Sun night.  From now until then, that's 144 hours of constant melt.  Ice was already slushy last Saturday, so...my suggestion is head North, West, or North East.  Be safe fellas.

Can't believe the ice was still "decent" last weekend. Thought for sure is was a goner when I was there last weekend. Way to still get after it guys!

Fished Lone tree today, edges getting a little soft on way off but surprising 8-10 black ice mid way the cove.
