  I jumped over to mff and wasn't that thrilled. Seems IS has a better format. Just gonna take a while to get used to it I guess.
  Sorry to hear all the disappointing reviews on the wny show. I used to have a booth there a long time ago selling log homes, but it seemed like even back then the advertising done along with the turnout wasn't worth the cost for the booth. :(

 Wow... 101, I feel like a regular now :D

I was not overly impressed this year with the show. I did booked a trip to Manitoba this year though.  ;D ;D ;D

Did not get a chance to meet mr. davenport but there's always next I guess. Think I saw him snaggin in the trout pond, but not sure.

You can only visit so many booths with cheap sunglasses and jig heads. But - with outdoor sports kind of on hold till Aprol, it's a nice way to break things up.

Soooo,
Let's recap;

The WNY Sport Show was good, bad, OK....typical

Ol Doctari, once again,  saved our beloved sport from....well....everyt hing bad that could happen.....typical

Walleyehanger spewed blue insults and machismo in sophomoric fashion.....typical

Onlookers jibed in with instigative comments......typical

Members actually responding to a decent topic are forced again to endure 2 morons engaged in measuring their manhood.....too typical

I've almost become indifferent to this kind of crap posting on a quality website that provides so much fun for more than 11,000 people...... quite remarkable

This thread was getting hijacked time to get it back on topic. Did you or didnt you like the sportsman show?

For me I have been to it many times but every year it seems to go down hill. I used to enjoy it when they had fishing gear, hunting gear and of course camps to book trips Now all you see are the outpost camps, 1 or 2 guys selling Turkey calls some art, a boat or 2, clothing and more stuff I am not interested in. And of couse I didn't have to go to know what they had.

The show in Rochester is dismal at best. It's not worth the $6. >:(

I have to agree, once again, that the shows have become stale. The Cleveland show is top notch. Basically designed for folks who target Lake Erie specifically. If you're looking for gear for walleye, trout, whatever - Cleveland is the show to attend.

I'm sure this post will be deleted as well.
