Is the lake itself froze over? I love 2 hours away and I was planning this trip I guess the backup plan would be Goodyear lake but I loved arnold. If I were to walk down the bank could I get onto the lake do you think? I saw that the low the next couple nights is 26

The lake is frozen. If you want to trespass yes you can. As I stated earlier I'll post what I see. Just being honest about it.

Here's the scoop. The lake is frozen but like I said there's open water at the only public access. Talked to two different landowners and they're getting upset because of ppl trespassing. I know the Dec stocks this lake but this might come to a end because of the trespassing and ppl leaving their litter on the ice. If this happens the lake will be off limits to anyone without written permission. And now with this snow and warm weather and more snow coming it'll be awhile before the access locks up.

The last time I was there the camp directly adjacent to the access point had a bubbler running to keep the ice from forming by his frontage.   I suspect it also affects ice forming at the access point.    Which, in turn, entices people to move down the shoreline to the left for a short drop down the bank onto the ice . . . . trespassing.    IMO
