Saw that it had ice, but it looked pretty thin a few days ago.
May the fish be with you.

I was thinking about heading out there myself this weekend. I want to get into some fish after a couple weeks of smaller lakes fishing that didn't produce well. would love to get a report.

it locked up two weeks ago, but there was some sections that were scary thin and cracks that were over 1ft wide!!! didn't stop a group of people from walking out right in the middle! ??? I'm skeptical that its safe, probably give it another couple of weeks.

We just got off the ice. 5.5 to 7 inches of ice in 15 holes we drilled. Not black ice but not all white either, seemed solid where we were. Snow on top leads to a tough pull. We had all dinks, several perch and seeds/gills. Hooked and landed a pickerel on a jig, pike came in on camera with all the commotion. Just plain slow...
