Pb ice brown 1/7/17

Took a drive up north to the beautiful nh mountains last weekend to ice some big trout as the spot i planned on fishing has produced some solid fish during the summer. Started my morning of with my tire blowing out 3 miles before my exit but i didnt let that ruin my day. Fished with pinheads right below the ice in 3-6 feet of water which always seems to work for me. Caught two stocked size brookies right off the bat not picture worthly plus it was to cold to have them out of the water for very long, -3 degrees to be exact.. Shortly after i took a walk to my car to get something and noticed that i had a flat tire again which was the one that i had replaced by the local tow company up there. Long story short i had them fix it and got right back out there set up my traps again!!! And caught this beautiful brown after about 15 mins. One of those days i will never forget.

Nice brown!! I haven't seen one like that in a long time.  Also, congratulations on finding -3 degrees, have not seen that for a while either.  Bring on the cold!!
