up coming weather

I was out in Becket today there was 8"of good ice. Fishing was slow but it was good to get out , the next week doesn't look good and the week after that looks worse. Hope I'm wrong but there's a lot of rain and 40 degree temps coming.

40s are better than the original 50s they were forecasting
Also, more importantly, right now it looks like the nights will stay below freezing
I suspect ice will make it until next weekend at least...then take it from there...
