Frozen
« on: Nov 20, 2016, 07:24 PM »
My local lake is froze over as of this morning 11/20.  If it stays in the teens for lows, I should be on the ice this weekend on some shallow stuff.

Any other reports?  Small ponds in the hills are froze and I walked on one but pactola and Sheridan are open

Only small sloughs frozen up in NE SD. Won't be long for new ice on big lakes.

Hopefully the big lakes ice up soon, hopefully the wind with this cold air doesn't hurt too much this week. But hopefully we can at least get out on some sloughs this weekend.

Planning on dropping a line Saturday but haven't decided where yet. Maybe Schaefers if it's deep enough this year.
