Lake Gogebic Jigs and Tips

Going to Gogebic for four days in two weeks and was wondering if anyone has any lures or tips to share for fishing there?Last year I got one nice perch,a walleye and sucker both days I fished all on wigglers and tungsten jigs.Want to try some other things this year.WSe caught 11 total four guys not very good but still love going for that two pounder.

Buckshot and minnow head is what we get most the big perch on at Devils Lake. Also a tung with minnow as a deadstick always seems to work well.

If you guys caught fish that's good.  I wouldn't change anything you did other than maybe try some different spots.  It's not a big numbers game on Gogebic, it's a big fish game.  Keep trying though those two pounders are a blast to catch!

Just as noam1700 said, It's not a numbers game it's about big fish.  For big fish they are so lethargic that most of the time if you move the jig they go away, It can be very frustrating.  Dead sticking small jigs with wigglers and a lot of patience is normally the ticket.  It sounds like you were on the right track, where we find the suckers we usually find the big girls.
