Wakefield Parks & Rec Derby CANCELLED

      It was scheduled for Feb.27 but now with the Rotary changing theirs to our date, we can't compete with them.
 It's to bad as it is one of our big fundraisers.
   The following week we have other things going on and the way the winter has gone, if we pushed it out to March 12 we decided we'd be pushing our luck.

 It will have to wait until next year. Thanks everyone

I wish it was different but I know 99% of the fishermen would be fishing the Rotary instead. You'd think the derby officials would look at other derbies going on and schedule/reschedule accordingly

Im sure that will be the case. I know it will for me. I don't think that was even a consideration when they moved it, unfotanatly.

The Alexandria Fire Dept (Newfound) Derby was originally scheduled for that date also but was postponed.

The Sebago Derby is still scheduled for the same weekend as the Rotary Derby now both on Feb 27-28. I'm sure both will take a bit of a hit as alot of people usually do both but will now have to choose.
