Was on Fields today. Walked to THE hole. 6" in spots and 4" in spots. What a winter! I wouldnt take the wheelers and sleds out yet. Fishing was mediocre. We got some small ones...no size at all. Be safe out there

Thanks for the report. I like fishing there once a year, but looks like I'll wait a little longer.

Fishing is different this year. The fish haven't moved to the deeper water yet. If this weather keeps up we'll have open water at the end of March.

I'm thinking it's almost inevitable at this point. Especially this week in the 30s near 40. There's just no way we are going to see weather cold enough to not have an early ice out. I would be surprised if it was later than the first week of April

There was a few inches in spots and some places weren't at all. Was quite nice aside from the 15+ winds lol
