Humminbird ice 45 vs vexilar fl-12
« on: Jan 16, 2016, 10:44 PM »
I currently own the ice 45, lucky me I just won the suds n soda raffle for the vexilar fl-12. Just curious what to expect compared to the hummingbird. Also, does anyone have the vexilar double vision pack that has the underwater camer and also utilizes the flasher in one package?  If so, how do you like it?

???  The fl12 is just a fl8 with a wider screen.  It doesn't have a zoom mode and usually only a 12 degree transducer.  I think your Hummingbird ice 45 is a better machine and ,like the Vexilar,  it has only the necessary three colors rather than the expensive Hummingbirds that are complicated with an array of multiple colors?? ::)  .    I have a friend who has the double vision FL28 and he loves it.   He also has one of the mini aqua view cameras that he can carry in his coat pocket and he loves that too.
