Newland Bass Pond, near Colony, WY (far northeastern corner of WY) will be taken out of the Walk-In-Fishing program effective immediately. A faulty gate and possibly a compromised dam has led the water levels to drop considerably. The landowners have plans to fix what needs to be fixed, but it will likely take some time. WGFD will hopefully resign the pond back into the program when the fixes are completed.
