I doubt you will get many tips on walleye fishing in Utah. Those secrets seem to be closely guarded, at least in my experience as I have the same question.

Problem with walleye in Utah is we don't have alot of areas with them and most the areas that do have alot of fluctuating water levels so getting a pattern can be very tough. I have tried a few methods at Willard that people talk about in the walleye section on the community page but have not had any success. So I don't think it's a matter of no one not wanting to give up secrets but more that not many people have success for them thru the ice. Good luck

Catching eyes through the ice consistently without the use of live bait is tough. I moved here from Montana and using live bait makes a huge difference and the line restrictions here also make it hard to cover alot of area.

I'm with you on the line restriction. I'm in town just for a visit and was appalled at the one line through the ice. I began ice fishing in SDakota and fishing with a combination of dead sticking and tip ups (4 lines total) with live fatheads while jigging a rippin rap or jigging spoon with a minnow head around points and drop offs were the ticket to finding walleye. But then again walleye is king out in the upper Midwest and whereas they like their trout out West so the regs reflect the species usually targeted.
