Just wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction for finding Tecumseh engine parts online looking for a ignition coil for a model 77 2hp xt lighting

jacks small engines on line has a lot of parts for the Tecumseh engine. find your engine model number. it should be stamped on the engine somewhere.

Okay thanks. Yeah i have all the numbers i just couldn't find a site that had a Tecumseh parts lookup

Did you try adjusting the gap, and cleaning it of surface rust first.

Yeah it's all clean. It just doesn't test out with a ohm meter secondary is open when I've tested it
