fish n tell

When anglers go fishing to lakes that are more like sloughs say 80 acres or less do they really have to post where they went complete with pics ,directions, what to use, time of day, etc.
as soon as someone hears that the perch are good at a lake and the limit is 25 everyone and there dog is going to try and next thing you know its culled out !
how about some disgression say limit your catch , or dont post at all leave some adventure in the adventure .

Your asking the most notorious liars(fisherman) to lie more?  Sounds like your just a little upset your getting outfished and out bragged. Cheer up and find a new hole, that's the adventure I thought. Walleye are banging hard on the ssr at the old leader wing dam. Pink and green jig heads with minnows and any glow spoon with half a minnow!  Limits for everyone!

Most fisherman that follow you to the venture spot won't bother the fish there. They would blame you on false tips.

learned that the hard way when i lived in saskatoon.  found a hot spot, posted TMI and the next time i headed out was sharing with 40 or 50 other trucks...never again.   hundreds of members are reading these posts each day and thousands of lurkers are as well.

i think this site is great for discussing tactics and lures, trends, general reports and all the better if you want to post some pictures (wish that was easier)...just leave out the details.  it's also a good site for meeting other fisherman that will reciprocate the flow of more particular information via p.m's.

Most unexperienced fishermen venture to the spot, drill holes around the shack and it isn't their shack!  :woot: :nono:

U know if your hotspot is within an hour of the city its only a matter of time before people find it out... But 90% of the time people like me are going to go near the shacks, and for you guys that think you own that honey hole... Think again because anyone can buy a fishing license and anyone can fish within the rules, this "i own the lake" mentality is ridiculous.

I like to go and find a new hot spot.what usually happens is people see me catching and next time I go back there is a shack sitting on the spot I left.Shacks on the ice are a good indicator of where they were biting in the past.

for myself if get to to the lake and find other people fishing in or around a spot where i have been fishing at i just simply set up as close to the spot as possible and still respect their space.and fish around them.or move to another spot...you do have more than 1.?  I've never had issues with other anglers. for me its not to difficult to share the same fishing area. as for drilling holes around your permy when your not in your permy..why does it matter its not like your inside your shack while their doing it.as long as they respect your shack and your belongings. its everyones lake to enjoy. nobody has dibs on any specific spot. after all you could be fishing in their spot. they might have found it years ago before you.lol who was there first :o   kinda got off topic last few posts. my openion is that if you want to share the information on where, how, and how many that's up to you. no one says you have to. just don't complain if you do.

I have no problem if someone fishes by my permy if I'm not there, as long as they don't drill their holes so close that it freezes my skids in! Last winter I came to my shack and people had been fishing around it and left their beer cans and a whiskey bottle laying on the ice by my shack! But I guess I did make a few cents out of it! :P

I don't mind people fishing around shack but like yah said drill beside shack flood in skids and leave garbage is why I dont  Like it. My number is on the shack call so I can pull it out before it freezes. Or move it for me and leave a messages. All though .I have moved shack away from my holes so people fish by shack and set up pop in my honey hole.
