Insulated bags for electronics
« on: Nov 23, 2015, 04:32 PM »
Which insulated coolers/lunch bags seem to be the best size for ice electronics? The kids' soft insulated lunch bags and the hokey promotional 6 pack coolers the house has accumulated over the years are just a bit too small to zip closed around a battery, Elite-4 and cables.

I'm gonna have to buy something, but no way I'm spending $90 on a fancy bag...

No need for an insulated bag.  I just picked up Cabellas' new offering and it seems nice for the price, but I had a brain fart and got the one without a mount so I have to fab that up quick.  With a base to mount to that has a built in battery trey it's $29.99.

You can get the Vexilar soft cases in that same ballpark but that is for the soft case only with no mounts or base.
I'm a man, but I can change, If I have to, I guess.
