Anyone been out this week at all?? Thinking about going Sunday but I haven't had a chance to go check the ice.

I drive by everyday- it looked solid this am- don't know what the rain today/tonight will do.  If i think of it I'll stop and check it tomorrow am.

Hopefully it holds up but its damn warm out!

Was on Chauncey Tuesday afternoon/evening. Ice was tight to shore but top half is rotting fast. Be safe.

Walked out onto the ice at the boat ramp this morning (Fri).  Its starting to open up along the dam, but the boat ramp was solid.
Still raining but I would bet it will hold up through the weekend.

Oh boy will that be scary.  All those old ice fires covered up with 2-3 inches of snow ought to be treacherous.   I suppose if the equipment and manpower is available to pull you out, it can be tried.

I am going to check it out myself Tomm afternoon after work.. I find it hard to believe that these last few days in the low 50s melted 16 inches of ice.
