I caught one 20" brown up on the north end near the keeper hole this year other than that a few nice lakers and a bucket full of smelt. I have never caught a salmon from this lake but I know they are in there.

I also saw your post on the conditions page and you dont need a machine to do good on indian. Some of the nicest fish I have caught from there have been right off the pulloff on rt 30 about 20 feet from shore. There is a stream that runs in there and the smelt seem to congregate there. Where there are smelt there are bigger fish as well. As far as depth some of the biggest fish I have caught there have been in 3 to 8 feet of water. Hope this helps you.

Hit Indian this morning on the south end with a friend, hoping to catch some smelt.  Also set out tip ups for bigger quarry while jigging for the smelt.  Drew a complete blank.  Not even a bite.  Didn't have any electronics this trip though as it is in the repair shop.  Saw one other person on the ice but don't know how he made out.

I know that the pull off is just past the boat launch, but there is another clearing just past that. I can't remember if it was the pull off or the second area, but I fished it once and saw tons of smelt on the camera. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to target them with.

Sorry to hear of your skunking Eaglcrag. I also just got skunked there . Had tipups setup for bigger fish like trout/salmon and had holes drilled for jigging smelt. Never saw any smelt on my fishfinder. But did mark some goodsized fish cruising through from time to time. No action at all. Just like someone through the breaker .So, do not feel bad.  ;)
