After a good night's rest we arrive at Wild WIngs Marina to hit the Lake......All but one quad started so I unhook the trailer and hook the cables up to his quad.....After awhile it decides to start and after missing the morning bite and him with the power anger, he drills us one hole a piece and when I say one hole I MEAN ONE#1 HOLE.......Remember now this is a so called friend that I've invited to Summit to catch walleyes.  .to the Ohio River to catch saugers.........Now we caught some fish Friday.....but this same guy got some info back at the Motel Friday night.....and never said a word to me about going to this spot.........more or less left us high and dry......my point is....be careful who u think are ur true friends because they will stick it in ya.......I thought we were up there as a group....not as individuals....this isn't a 800 acre Lake it's Lake Erie I MEAN come on......the quote is...."LIVE AND LEARN"

Crazy, you and me both had a memorable weekend on erie lol and it is easier fishin up there if your in a group i think cuz at least for me my cell phone has no service up there so i cant just call someone if im catching or not catching, gotta drive around a thousand guys n look for your buddy

Couple questions, how deep is the snow on the ice? MY quad is 2x4 with chains and pretty much goes any where on the ice here, would it work there? Couple of use are going to wild wings in the next couple days and stay at his mobile home, where did you go off from? Thanks, Mike

It's amazing what a few fish will do to a man and his friendships... isn't it.  Remember the rule.... treat others as you would want to be treated.... pretty simple!

Live and learn is right. We have a pretty good group when we go out of town because a few had to be weeded out. I don't make a big deal but they are just never invited again.  When I see them around they're like that that was fun when we went Mille LACS or LBD, Do you guys ever think about heading there again and I'm like ... yup, we go somewhere at least once a year. Treat with respect and help a brother out .... like sportsmen

I guess I just try to hard to make everybody happy, I've been catching Erie Walleyes for a few years now and these trips I go on are more about putting them on fish......But to do me the way this dude did Me was totally wrong....I was warned about em......and threw it aside because I honestly thought we were friends........hell I've even jumped on his boat and showed em spots on Brookville.....In the long run he'll get what's coming to em.....

             Was there yesterday and about 4" snow, got stuck a few times, the guy with the 2 wheel drive better be glad he was not with us, numerous times almost stuck but didn't, moved numerous times our group got 12 eyes, not good for all day!!

We were moving around crossing shoves and pack ice every which way. 57 miles in two days on the quad. Chains make a difference, thats for sure. But it surely wasnt that bad out there i dont feel, drifted up at some of the shoves just pick and choose where you cross. Blazin my own trail was the smoothest way i could navigate compared to some of them beat up arse trails.
