After many terminal ends later, I decided to make a modification to the battery and power so I would never have to disconnect the power cable and connect alligator clips to charge it.... Very simple mod. What you'll need: two terminal ends to the battery, three terminal ends to the toggle switch, wire cutters, toggle switch, and tape.
1. Cut the alligator ends off charger.
2. Put negative into negative battery terminal end and set aside. Don't crimp yet!
3. Connect positive to one side of the toggle switch and tighten down.
4. Cut connectors off power supply that would originally connect to the battery.
5. Put negative of the power supply with the negative of the charger. Crimp them in a connector for the negative lead to the battery.
6. The positive of the original power supply needs to be connected to the other side of the toggle switch.
7. Clip of 2-3 inches of the red cable from the in-line fuse.
8. Connect the small red wire from #7 to the middle of toggle switch.
9. Put a connector on the other end of the red wire and connect that to the positive lead on the battery.
10. Tape it all down to battery to make it nice and neat.
Now, when the switch is in one position, it will power the unit. When you flip the switch, it kills power going to the unit and you plug the charger into the wall to charge your battery! When using unit, just tuck wall charger in, switch the toggle to power unit and your good to go.
