O/T Chronic pain....
« on: Feb 09, 2015, 10:02 PM »
Been in pain in my hip for a year or so, did the chriopracter thing , no help. Went to doctors in november and was sent to get xrays but never went. Had a bottle of happy pils that helped for awhile! Finnally went back to docs today, got hell about not getting xrays done! Got them done and the xray technicion could'nt tell me anything on what the saw. Only thing i got out of them is most people like me don't walk in. If it needs replacing i'm shooting for mud season!
Is it ice time yet???

Your right about that they usually bring them in in a straight jacket and tied up on a stretcher!!! Then they sedate you but.....your probably already medicated!

Snopro, Good luck with the hip. I've had both of mine done. Compared to both my back surgeries, the hips were nothing. I drove home from the hospital after the first and was home watching TV 46 hours after the second. Had tears in my eyes when the had me walk the next day after the first hip. The excruciating pain I lived with was gone. Good luck.

story of my life too. And it as usual always seems to act up  this time of year and messes up any and all plans I make.  It does get old.  At least you possibly have a fix.    Right now I'm totally frustrated 😒

Hopefully they get to the bottom of it. Had a coworker this summer having hip, lower back pain and foot numbness. Come to find out cyatic nerve damage. They told him one more twist the wrong way and he probably never would have walked again. Good luck
Fishing is like playing at Carnegie Hall, when your good your good. But do you know how to get to Carnegie Hall? PRACTICE!
