Fishing the Derby tthis weekend wiht the Kids

What a better father son weekend and to celebrate my birthday than to fish the Deby this weekend.  Bringing my two boys up and staying at Mills Falls in Meredith.  While not expecting to win, we will fish hard and have some great laughs for sure. 
Wanted to reach out to you guys for advice as to snow depth, etc around Meredith especially your thoughts on our plan to set up the Big Foot Clam Shelter outside of the hotel a 100 or so yards fom the hotel.  Any advice would be great and welcome any of you guys to stop by and see the MacDonald boy's work it thru the ice and have a beer with us!!

Nothing like fishing a derby with your boys.  I'll be fishing with mine too.   Wouldn't trade it for anything.  Things should be some what packed down in that area and you should have no issues setting up the shack.  Lots going on there to keep things interesting. Good luck and have fun .  Memories  that will last a life time
