Just thought many people would be interested.  Last year a good friend did not catch a fish but went home with a Yamaha 250 Quad...and the year before caught a small perch and went home with a chainsaw.

Just wondering aprox how many people are usually there for the tourney?

Any one else with experiances there? or tips to share?

New to ice fishing and this sounds like a fun day.

My tip is have good ass luck....

35-4000 people, lots of room, lots of fun. If you want to catch a fish, you need techneic. Less than 100 fish weighted, but this is by design as they pick a large flat on which to fish. But, for the chance to win any number of prizes, either with a fish or by being drawen out of a hat, well worth $70.00. Lots of movment, flash and noise are your best bet. The fish come from all over the tourny area, but lots of fish get caught in the middle, closer to the edges. Good luck, fished it for 10 years till I moved away, still ahead of the money spent.
