Hello Guys

For all the supporter who like my videos , here you go..

I just want to say that when I do a video its show my fellow Ice anglers that i love what i do and if i can help a few more people catch fish and have fun doing it then "great". I love helping people catch fish and ALL the people That PM over the years can testify to that.
I Never make this video to stroke my Ego or claim to be "the almighty fisherman"

, Because i am guy who is Always learning about new techniques , or new body's of water, and if i find something that is working for me i like to past it on to other ice anglers.

Perfect example of this is the other night when i was making my video on Bomo there was a group of guys and one kid probably 12 or so fishing about 10 yards away from and i could hear them talking , and they were not catching much i think i heard them say that they caught like 12 smelt since the time i was there and i heard them say they were fishing close to bottom and they about ready to pack in for the night. so i went over to them and asked them how they were biting and they said not too good which i knew at this point was not true for me

So i gave them some of my berkly gulp maggots i was using and told them how deep i was fishing and walked away. about 20 minutes later i hear the kid say to his dad. "dad that third smelt i caught in last ten minutes on those maggots, those things really do work" that made me feel real good and here is the other thing when i packed and i was leaving around 8 pm ish , Guess what they were still there trying the best to get a few more smelt after hearing them earlier in the night about saying they were just about to leave. That is what the bigwiggle is about.

theres some Action! I'm gonna have to try some gulp maggots. we are goin to lake x tomorrow. we have a friendly wager as to who catches the most in an evening, I am undefeated so far so I Invited the man to took my crown last year on his 2nd evening out

Another great video. That sure looks like more fun than football to me. Do those gulp work well for perch also?

I believe when they are biting good any color could work. One of the big reason why i like these Berkly Gulp maggots is they are durable and they will stay on the hook better then minnow heads or spikes, so you spend less time re baiting and more time fishing

hey joe, I saw that u were hitting the smelt pretty good on bomo.... I live in Chittenden and fish as much as possible during the winter months, just the other day I was fishing and slammed a 28" 6llb walleye, and that will probably be the best walleye I get all year... I have smelt fished before, but I am a novice, I have had luck on Dunmore, with 3 holes with a car headlight in the middle, pretty redneck I know but it works.... I love fishing for lakers and with the god awful bait laws that we have I have switched to using plastics for almost everything, but big lakers love smelt dead or alive... so if u ever want to hook up and fish for smelt or lakers walleye, I probably would learn a few things... anyway headed to Dunmore bright and early , so hit me up , oh yeah my name is adam

Hello Adam. Nice to meet you. And welcome to the ice shanty forum. I'm always game to fish with new people and because I am always a student of the game also learning new things. I used to fish for Lakers on Dunmore and Champlain when they had good ice up there. And I used to use plastics all the time for Lakers especially big white tube jigs. I can remember one day on Lake Champlain I have a pan teen mom I caught nine Lakers just checking ranging from 2 pounds up to 9 pounds. P.m. me and maybe we can hook up and do some fishing
