I wish I could meet up with you buddy but I'm reserving my energy for Sunday at Loomis.  More of a get together for the Friends of Fishing.  Chance for me to meet the guys n gals and talk about the derby the following Saturday.  I was hoping to go back to work by February but right now I'm wearing a walking boot.  I'll know this next Tuesday from my wound specialist what he wants to do.  It's possible, but we're hoping not, I might have to have a skin graft on my right foot.  If that's the case, then I'll be off until March.  They'll have me in the walking boot the entire time and they won't let me in the plant with that thing on.  It's a safety thing and good reason.  The floors over there are painted over and if there's any lubricant at all on that floor it gets slicker than goose snot on ice LOL

Whenever your ready Phil, I'll be more than willing to team up with you. As a matter of fact I'll be fishing in the area we fished last year.
I did ok in that spot a few times last year. Remember that huge school of gills we seen on the camera. I thinned them out a bit ;D

WHAT???? And you didn't call me and invite me back?  Geez.  LOL seriously, I'm not sure how I'm going to do on the ice wearing this stupid walking boot.  But if the ice is thick enough, let me know and I'll bring the Polaris up.  8 inches might be good, but I'd feel safer with 10.  That thing weighs 1,000 pounds you know.

When i drove past this evening on my way to the neighboring lake, i seen an atv sitting on the ice about... 400 yards or better out from the park/beach. North or gull point. Basically straight out from the park. This was at approx 1:15 p.m.
Got one goin'!

Thanks NDA, but my Polaris weighs in a half ton, not to mention with a full tank of gas.  ATV's weigh half to one quarter what this monster weighs, bout like a small car LOL.  But it's encourging to know the ATV's are out there.  Thanks for the info.
