Anyone fishing Blind Sodus Sat morn.

I was wondering if anyone was fishing Blind on Sat am.  I have heard the ice is iffy and I am not sure I want to be out there alone.

i wont be there till about 2. id call the ice very iffy.....it moves!!!! just wait by the road...im sure someone will show up. we were on the ice at 6.30, and i think it was an hour before anyone else showed

I was told red flag for Blind, I guess the channel stated to flow through from the lake either wed or thurs.  My buddy said the day it started to come throught the ice was good in the mornin but was iffy if not dangerous by afternoon.  Warm water melted the ice from below .  But on a plus side it brought some slob perch in my buddy said he ended up with alota keepers, mostly 9 ta 12 inches.  Tight lines

the ice was iffy as of fri pm and that area got at least 4-6 inches of new snow[ i live less then 8 miles from there] which wont help the ice any . please use extreme caution if going out. yeah it sucks only having the weekends to fish but drowning is not good either. im hearing that most areas north like sandy pond, lake of the isles,black lake had decent ice earlier in the week. just use your head and remember the football playoffs are on today which might be the better way to go. all this new snow wont help the ice making either. hopefully you all get the idea. tight lines better ice will be here soon and like last year safe ice wasnt here till mid january. big dave out.
