Hello all. New to the site and live in NWI. Had a very productive weekend at willow slough evening bite has been hot. This is my tenth year ice fishing the slough. Hoping to learn some new tricks on here. Anyone heading out to the slough Wednesday morning?

High flags I meet u last weekend in the parking lot saturday night. We were leaving patrol road. You asked if I was on the site so I decided to join. My favorite place is where the fish are normally. Lol

Im heading to the same locale as you are, about noon and fishing till dark. Will be in a grey gore-tex suit with a frabill flip over in tote and a blue mora sticking out of the ice.

Welcome icehhunter, I'm glad you made it here. IS is a Great site! Nice to meet you the other day. if you got nothing going on Sunday come on out to Loomis lake in Valpo we will be fishing the afternoon bite...its not slough gills ...LOL

You noticed that. Its amazing how that lake keeps producing big gills. There is one hole I have for crappie but I only fish that spot during week when lake is dead. I have caught some monster northern out there but never through ice.
