The Good and the Bad for today @ EOM

The Bad:
1)Blue Igloo was vandalized......2 broken windows 
2)Door left open......thanful we had a strong south wind instead of north 
3)Batteries went dead in fishfinder.....
4)Lost an entry size walleye at the hole 

The Good
1)Only had to drill 1 inch down on each hole.
2)Got to move the shanty to a different spot. 
3)Landed 3 keepers......2 walleyes plus one sauger.
4)Did not catch any goldeye or burbot. 
5)Best of all.....I hosted another IS member, Jeremyw111, and got to see him haul in very first walleye while icefishing.
He also landed a sauger and lost a few goldeye at the hole. Those pesky goldeye kept him hopping all day 

It was a pleasure to meet Jeremy and a surprise to learn that he's practically a neighbor of mine 
Looking forward to our next fishing expedition.

Hey, thanks for the day of icefishing Blue igloo, lots of icefishing experience and wisdom to help out a rookie.  Great host!  I can now say the Red is only beating me 2-1, looking forward to fishing with you again some day blue igloo.

Blue, sorry about the Igloo. Shantys have been getting hit upstream too. Ours is as of yet ok. Some people will one day for sure find themselves on the wrong end of a bad accident!

To all the others....thank you for your concern.
The only evidence I found was hundreds of dog tracks all around the shanty......so did anyone see a dog running around out there the last 3 days (Fri,Sat & Sun)?
Someone else probably used the blue igloo AFTER the windows were broken because a rag I had left to dry was found wedged inside the window frame to cut out the wind........wonder who that was?
Oh well, got some new windows to install tomorrow and some new batteries for the Eagle. Hoping the new location produces for me like it did last week for others
