Fisherhawk, Happy birthday! Though its now technically 25 minutes past January 6th, and the beginning of the 7th, I was out earlier today (technically yesterday)on the ice, didn't fish, just checkin it out, but it happened to also be my birthday... I'm now 25, so I don't have to think about bingo and depends for quite some time (I hope!). And at 43, you've got a ways to go yourself! It may seem that time goes by so fast, but not THAT fast!

I'm heading out after work today. Late morning. I got word from a buddy that one of my favorite bow lakes has a bit of fishable ice. I'm gonna check it out and hope it holds my fat ass!

I stayed hunkered down yesterday but will probably venture out today to snag up some bows or I might hit my crappie spot.

Go get them Wayne. Suppose to get windy in the afternoon. Find a spot to shield you from the WNW wind. I'll be out Friday-Sunday. This work thing has to stop. How many guesses do I get to guess where you are going?  ;D

I'm heading out tomorrow morning for a few hours before work.. should be pretty chilly but hey, we NEED ice so this week has been perfect. Still be careful out there as you never know, but 5 days of weather, with a few nights well below zero should harden up just about everywhere..  Maybe see some of you guys out there.. good luck!
