What do you think 2 inches rain will do to 7 inches of ice over night? I really want to fish round lake tomorrow but I don't want to go swimming. Your thoughts please.

Bring the cleats and the rubber boots.Stay away from feeder streams that enter the body of water.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, A fishing pole in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming \"WOO HOO, what a ride!

Saratoga ice is going away, I checked it tonight. Round lake is probably mushy also. I would wait for another freeze-up. When I was younger I used to go out dragging a flatbottom rowboat with me. Now I just wait!

I agree with everyone. I think it is going to be very soft. Besides with the unstable weather patterns the past couple days, I wouldn't ecpect much to be happening out there.

well....I went. The fishing wasn't too good but the ice was fine when I got there but we must of lost about an inch or so today. It rained for about two hours while I was out there. The water on the ice was rushing down the holes.....it was like someone flushed a toilet. Thanks for the input guys.
