Good time to start checking your electronics  and batteries.
Better to find out now instead of when you want to go out and fish.
May as well go thru your power auger too.

Good point ... early spring tested my 12v 9ah battery ..would not take a charge ...guess things don't last forever ..its got to be over 5+ years old ... Then got a replacement ...on another note start them augers fellow fisherman ..started mine yesterday ...took some coaxing ..but fired up and ran just fine

fired up my auger this afternoon, opened up the shanty to air it out. Just in time a mouse just started a nest, no holes or chew marks. Squared away two tip ups and put the vex on the charger.

After a lot of summer procrastination I finally downloaded and installed the latest software version  on my LX-7.  Also fired up the auger on the first pull!   Have yet to get the shanty down and open it up.   Maybe tomorrow.
