 more room to walleye fish in piece and quite , and not dealing with the boat launch mongos  ;D

That's great but even if you can't go out on Christmas Day or the day after at least you don't have to wait an entire year to use the stuff you get for Christmas.

All of that stuff plus just having a reason to not only enjoy winter, but to seriously look forward to it. We have pretty hard winters in the Dakotas some years and until I ice fished I didn't look forward to it. People at work grumble all winter and my ice fishing buddy and I are like happy little kids. I think it annoys everyone who hasn't figured out that winter happens every year, and they need to find a way to enjoy it!

So yes on no bugs, cold beer, better tasting fish, no limits on how big your group is, etc.....Also I do love fishing on Christmas day! Oh almost forgot my birthday is at the end of December so I always get to ice fish on that day too. A couple of times I went to Devil's Lake to celebrate.  :tipup: :tipup: :tipup:
