 Nice... someone's got some fish to clean... I always loved crappies but threw the bluegills back... that was until I tried them.. just as good as the crappies through the ice...

 The meat of a gill seems firmer but the gills are harder to fillet.. Fresh water piranhas. .

Fine job, some healthy looking specimens. Ive notice that when I freeze Crapeyes it firms up the meat and its hard to tell the difference between them and blewgills as I dont label my fish anymore. Looking good for Sunday, already got bait. 50F
But don't quote me on that. I have a drinking problem, I keep running out of beer. I've always been a little bit crazy, but its kept me from going insane.

yes your right on filleting I know I'm raising my standards for gills next year I kept some that were a pain in the butt to fillet lol
