What's up with Bowdish

I never see or here anybody fishing it.

Same, I go by there everyday, and have only seen two people fishing it this winter. During open water, I see people fishing it all the time from shore and by boat. It might have something to do with the fact that they drain it for winter and the place is normally choked with weeds at full water level. The weeds must be horrible under the ice when they drop it. There are definetly lots of nice bass in there.

I say what JBO says.  Weeds,weeds and more weeds.

I was thinking the same thing. Unless you could find a few deep holes here and there, It would probably be a hassle.

RT 44 just about on the CT state line. Pretty shallow and weedy.
