You talking the ferry landing?  The Marsh? Bulwaggee ?   What area you want to try and what spieces?

Also thinking of heading to Champlain/Ticonderoga for the first time this weekend.

I think we're looking for pike but would be happy to pull on any kind of fish without too bad of a sled drag walking from shore.

Thanks Combsey, like I said never been before so I don't know where these places are... I usually fish for eyes but I'm really not going here to target anything particular. I just want some action and to have a good time! Like the fact that there is about 82 species of fish here, any more info would be greatly appreciated, thanks again!!

Same here. Coming up this weekend to fish George and Champlain. I know both lakes but more so worried about parking. I want to fish in front of the fort area so I was wondering where I could get on by Fort view maybe? Also want to fish Hague and Rogers rock. Have a feeling I am walking a mile in slush though. Any info is appreciated. Can pm me if you want.

If you park at fort view and cross the tracks the railroad company will ticket you....just a warning.  About the only public access in the area is the ferry landing.  As far a rogers rock they plow the road at the campsite down to the lake so access is ok there with a good amount of parking.  In hague you can go off the town beach, but there is limited parking there.  If you are looking to buy bait in this area i recomend JMB Bait located in port henry.  Norms bait and tackle is another option but charges double for the same bait.  JMB is only about 2 minutes more of a drive than norms and well worth the cost savings.  The only down side is JMB is only open on weekends and evenings during the week.  I like to buy my bait the night before fishing so its not an issue for me.

Don't forget there's the two day Hague tournament this weekend so parking will probably be real tough in Hague.  Rogers Rock will likely be the best bet.

Fished Ti at the ferry landing last Sunday, beautiful day, poor fishing - dink perch, I was on the hard bottom in 15 FOW - if you move closer to shore you get into the weeds and may stumble onto a pike or two. Talked with Lenny @ Honey's Bait, he says the fishing has been slow all year - some rumors of a good crappie bite over on VT side - I'd go to Lake G before Ti.

The Great Benson derby in VT is this weekend too. Could be crowded near Fort Ti.

Thanks for the warning and the bait advice Berkley4life!

Is there plenty of parking for fisherman at the ferry landing?

Conditions out of Hague today were the worst I've ever seen on the ice.  35 degree rain with 6-8" of water and slush.
