Checked it out Sunday morning. What's a good way to get on the ice? The only way I see is climb up and over the hill. Not a big deal if I only took a bucked and a light auger. But was very windy. Wanted to take my shanty with the wind. Anywhere good to park and get on the ice?
I ended up going to another lake in Hillsdale.

YOU CAN DRIVE UP TO THE BOAT LAUNCH AND DROP YOUR STUFF OFF , THEN PARK UNLESS YOU LIKE DRAGGING YOUR GEAR UPHILL.

I didn't see the boat launch. I guess I need to look closer. Where about it it?

North West corner , it's not much look for the gap between the rocks.

Me and the father in law are heading up to Wauseon tomorrow,  I was wondering how the bite was and if they were hitting on anything particular. Thanks

I fished it saturday, and my buddies fished it sunday.  We caught 0 fish on saturday for 7 hours of effort, and my buddies caught 1 white bass.  Don't know how long they fished.   I barely marked any fish. Ice is ridiculously thick, but is 5 inches or less around a long crack coming form the intake on the north side.  Snow has probably covered it up so be careful if you venture that way.

Hey thanks for the info.  We fished for about 5 hours and didn't even get a bite.
