Malletts and Niquettes
« on: Feb 20, 2014, 10:50 AM »
Well I posted on here a few months ago about these to bays and how I'll be going on my second annual ice fishing trip. The time has finally come and it's only a week away! I'm looking to get my first pike, burbot, laker, bowfin and I just wanted to know if anyone has been catching anything in either of the two bays. Any info would be great, my friends and I have been waiting for this trip for months so I'm anxious to know what to expect. Thanks gentlemen.

I think the closer you fish towards the creek, the more likely you'll find the bowfin, I know they spawn in there in the spring.

I'll be trying right outside the back door of our house Thursday and then I'm going to hit the creek Friday. The work week needs to fly by, I'll be dreaming of a spinning spool for the next few days for sure  :woot:
