Cotton Tail Lake - Martell

anyone ever ice fish this lake?  Going out Saturday and would like to try it,  just wondering if it is worth trying? :icefish:

There was a huge fish kill at Cottontail in late August 2012. The fish you find will be bluegill that survived since then, and maybe some of the offspring of the 30 bass and 870 channel cats that were put in there in the Fall of 2012. Killdeer had a big one about that same time too. You might be better off heading in to Wild Plum or Walnut Creek near Crete. I would walk in to Olive Creek myself...

I know Killdeer had a big fish kill during ice season 2010 or 2011, can't remember for sure but it was big.
