Lost dog at Delmoe.
« on: Jan 30, 2014, 06:58 PM »
Just a shot in the dark here but looking for a young black lab lost by Delmoe on 1/26.  There's a woman in Butte who's heart broken over the loss.  Figured I throw it up here and see if anybody knew anything.  Thanks.

Southeast of Butte off of the top of Homestake Pass about 10 miles. We were there on Sunday when the dog went missing. We watched all the way down, but didn't spot it.

Sorry to hear. I wonder if they walked up by those cabins located a couple miles before the lake? I'm sure they would've checked along the Pipestone road.

@ OhioEd - Do you know what areas they searched & have they been up there searching since the 26th?

Should be a bunch of fresh snow up there now. Today would've been good to go check for some fresh sign. Damn, I sure wish I would have read this post yesterday. I would've loaded up the ATV or UTV when I got off work this morning & took a ride up there to search around.

It's been 5 days now,I just hope someone found the dog roaming one of the roads & picked it up.

I don't really know the person who lost the dog, i just work at the liquor store in uptown Butte and the woman brought in a flyer.  Could tell how upset she was.  Figured it was worth posting up here to see if anyone knew anything.  Love my dog and i can sympathize with her pain.

Ok, thanks Ed. I sympathize as well. Our dogs become another part of the family. If I lost my dog I'd be a total wreck.
