Just wondering if anyone around NP has been to Maloney lately and knows how the ice is? Any info is appreciated, thanks

Was out wed night very dangerous conditions we barley got on 8 inches honeycombed ice with lots of open water and current under the ice ! Not advisable!!!!

Ran the dogs out there tonight, there was a kid by the outlet ripping around in his boat. Wouldn't catch me out on whats left of that ice!!!!

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate the info. I'm guessing we may not see it lock up again like it was earlier in the season.

It has been over a week since I drove by there to see how the ice was, but at that time, you weren't going to fish it--most of it you would have needed a boat.

Don't know if that has changed in the past couple days or if it is going to change.
