I know a few different places that contain either crappie, Lgmouth bass, Pickerel, Bluegill, Trout, Suckers, Hornpout, possibly a few scattered yellow perch. Id be down to meet up if anyone is in the area. Usually 10 ft of water or less, using Shiners or jigging.

I work very close to exit 5, but the only place I have ever really fished in the area is Massabesic. But if you have any good spots for crappie I would love to join you sometime!

Try Scobie Pond, right down the street from exit 5. Beaver Lake is not too far either.

How do you typically do in those 2 locations?? Im thinking those are border line Derry locations.

Ever try the pond near burger king/ cracker barrel at exit 4?? I call it pickerel palace, Only fish in there besides Bluegill and shiners. But some big ones in there! Again I don't eat fish, so I just like pulling in all fish! Never ice fished it tho.

Beaver Lake is fun for bass, pickerel and perch, take my kids here when we can't fish up north. As for Scobie, haven't ice fished but is loaded with crappie as pointed out by Rob M.
I drive by that pond behind BK, see drilled holes out there, I have only heard of pickerel in there. Can't be bothered to fish there with all the businesses of 93 and 102.

Pickerel, Blue gill, and in summer Tons of Snapping turtles. If you just want to fish to catch fish, There are some big pickerel in there. Im sure you could go through 3 dozen shiners in a few hours.

As far as scobie, Any specific depths and spots more successful than others? where at, I want to try it. I never have, and grew up in that area.

bring some bait..billions flags at that place...look out for that area where the ice shack is..the guy is a real jerk...i think its gray in color..
when chuck norris played golf for money, chuck marked down a hole in zero every time, the golf pro said, "chuck: you can't score zero on a hole." Chuck norris turned towards the man and said, "I'm chuck norris, the man proceeded to pour gas over his body and set himself on fire because that would be less painful than getting roundhouse kicked by chuck norris....chuck norris roundhouse kicked him in the face anyways

LOL.  I believe its blue and with all this rain and warm weather it may be under the ice instead of on the ice.

If I'm not fishing then I'm not happy

Other side of Londonderry is Hudson which has a couple decent bass ponds Ottarnic and Robinson pond.  I believe Robinson has a derby coming up soon.

Have you ice fished Ottarnic recently? Did you have any luck?

Ive personally never fished Ottarnic in the winter.  The place is really overrun with milfoil in the summer though.  Pretty much the entire lake is filled to the top with the stuff.  I drive by it my way home and did see someone out there a week ago.

Used to fish Robinson long ago a ton... pickerel, small bass, tons of perch and a few crappie here and there. Hadnt fished it in years and hit it once last winter. All the nice perch 10"+ I could want and a few decent crappie in the mix. Great day - solid action on traps and jigging all morning!

I must have been in the wrong spot on Robinson last year then.  5 hours and got 2 perch and about 6 picks.  All picks were pushing close to 18" though so it was still fun but not a lot of action.

Jibbs - Thanks for the warning I'll be sure to watch out for that guy.

If that turns out to be the case I have a canoe nearby.  We can try to recover your stuff.
