I would say IGLs but this year has been horrible.  Spirit is full of dinks and west is a dead sea.

dk-dogs, I have been hearing rumblings of this the last couple years but Have not been able to find ANYTHING in that place. I would propose a little swap of info if you wouldnt mind showing me around.

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Big Creek,  Brushy Creek have some just like some ponds and pits around.  North would be your best bet for numbers. 5 years ago this spring I would go north for perch (13 1/2" biggest 10 1/2" looked small) then to the river for eyes my best vacation ever. Perch are around you just can't let the world know too many internet fishermen not willing to put in their hrs. I told a buddy (ex) about a place on Big Creek and he told people he worked with, guess what happened.

I to would like to cross ice perch off my bucket list. Any perch actually. I want to taste them so bad. Looks like I'll be heading up north.

My 1st 2 trips to Brushy produced a few jumbo perch so you know they are there. To me when you fish this lake you just hope to catch some keepers and targeting any one spiecies is a waste of time. I also caught several walleyes on those trips but it was just the same old thing waxies on ice jigs. That's my formula for all spieces in this lake. My 2 cents worth. RH
It's mind over matter, if you don't have a mind it don't matter.

I can't give away the lakes I fish except Brushy or Big Creek for perch. Some weeks can be hundreds in gas so I hope you understand. I would post a pic or two but can't figure out with this "dumb" phone. One year the word got out went from 2 huts mine and dads to 15 trucks, spread from the bait shop who stocked yellow bass in Lost Island,  hate that shop. Perch are cyclic so lakes change year to year, lots of weather factors can really hurt a few years. Just have to do research and drill, I keep journals. I'm not an internet fishermen and never will be, gotta love the river in the spring.
