A little bit of everything...

Hit Potanipo with my buddy this AM. He has a shack there...  fishing was slow, but we caught a little bit of everything... bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, 1 brownie and 1 bullhead. Mid morning he rolled out the venison sausage, eggs and bread and fixed up a great breakfast.  About 11 we packed up and headed to his F&G club and caught a few trout from the club pond which my kids will devour. Fun day with a great friend.  Getting out tomorrow with my daughter and making new friends -  meeting coldsteel for the 1st time. Will post up some pics from both days tomorrow evening!

Paul how much ice were you fishing on  ???   I was thinking of bringing the kids there tomorrow

Sounds like you had a full and great day Paul. Sorry I missed ya. Had some fabrication I was finishing. Going to pay my friend a visit tomorrow out there. Hope I have as good of luck.  :thumbsup: Good luck tomorrow.

Potanipo had 10+ inches... a lot of it white/opaque but a whole bunch of ice. We drove a truck right out and there were several others out on the ice.

Me and the pops might be headed there tomorrow as well.. Hoping the slick ice will reduce the sled traffic a bit ::)
