Just wondering if anyone had been out there this year and if minnows are a must?

Been there three times and caught a ton of small 7-8 inch yellows on cut bait on a jiggin rap. Already crowds there so.   Yeah. And as far as bein good cuz noone is sayin anything... not a lake any one person would choose to protect or even bother to encourage others to waste a drive goin to. But if youre into wastin 50 on gas for a bucket of 7-8 inch yellows its anyones game. Personally if you have the time go to clear. Only reason I've gone is having just a few hours to kill and wantin to avoid the "zoo" aka brushy. Good luck if you do go..
Ps. 17 fow.

You could also read the posts about this lake from prior posts. Small yellow bass and lots of them.
