Ice fishing is one of my favorite sports. It is very relaxing and can be action packed at times. Just please remember that it is also dangerous. I'm young and stubborn but I never hit the hard water without my emergency spikes, rope, and even have a life jacket with me. Never can be too safe. I have heard a lot of sad stories of people going through the ice and not surviving. I don't want myself or anyone else to be that person. May not look cool but atleast I have the equipment to try to save myself if needed. Also I carry a complete change of clothes in the truck just incase. May sound paranoid but just want to be safe.
