LAK Permit
« on: Dec 05, 2013, 07:48 PM »
Hey Wyoming! So, on my to-fish list is LAK. Going to make the drive from Rapid and fish it this winter for sure. In addition to my license I understand I need a "permit". Where do I need to stop and get one and how much are they? Been looking forward to fishing it for a few years. Thanks in advance.

You get the permit at True value. Go on a weekday or a Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

LAK is a private reservoir so you need a permission slip to fish there.  The permit is free and it gives the landowner some legal protection.

3 mos from the date you acquire one. It explains it out on the slip, along with the 'Do's and Don'ts' of LAK.
