I brought an adaptor last year and used an 18 volt dwalt it worked out fine for I have two battery's and was never disappointed but one handed operation can put a lot of torque on your wrist and sometimes just as your breaking through the drill will fetch a little and that can be more than a little uncomfortable I like the idea of two handed operation and that the drill secured with the chuck screw so it cant fall off my other adaptor if your not paying attention you can lose your drill through the ice I ordered one of the clam drill adaptors today hay you gotta have toys
