Well, finally got out fishing on the hardwater today. Wanted to find some good ice, so I thought I'd attempt to make it into a nearby mountain lake. After a nine mile trek in the Rhino I arrived at my destination and found 9-1/2 inches of good solid black ice. Fished for a little over three hours and didn't even get a bite. I only marked 8 - 10 fish on the Showdown and none of them showed any interest in my jigging activities. Nonetheless, it was just nice to get outdoors, so it was still a great day in my book. Sunny skies with a slight breeze and beautiful snow covered mountains surrounding me. Here's a couple fishless pics I snapped today. Take care everyone..............
