Church rummage sale find

$2.00 for this beauty. It seems fairly unused. Still has the instructions in the little lidded bin.

Sometimes it pays to volunteer and have first dibs on others castoffs.

I have been to a few garage sales over the years. Never found any great deals like this one.

I have found that if it is outdoor gear it is usually overpriced for the state of use or repair or it is a bunch of junk like spare spools to old reels or cheap Walmart rods.

I've gotten a couple antique tip ups for that price at garage sales, but they are wall hangers in my basement bar/trophy room. Would love to find a few new ones for a steal like that!

I once bought a Floating number 12 Rapala, black over silver at a garage sale for $8.00. We were heading up North soon and it was just like one I lost on a big pike in Canada.

I thought I got a steal.

Later I priced it and I had ended up paying retail for a used lure.

On the first cast with that lure a big pike stole it from me.

Worst garage sale deal ever.
