there are others that probably know better than me, but it looks like etters is about the cutoff of where the lk. gets deeper with more structure south of Etters.Ive been to Etters and caught walleye through the ice...but never further north as things get much more shallow..not to say the fishing is worse cause i have not tried it....yet.

I don't know what the fishing is like at the N end {Regional Park} is like this year, or what the road into it might be like, but in the past I have found mostly pike and burbot in that area as it's fairly shallow, 10 -12 feet is the usual depth.

A person may encounter an odd perch or cisco in there as well.

Walleye may show up late in the season as the N and S ends of the lake are their spawning areas, but I have never tried the N end that late in the season to see what it's like then. :-\

I was thinking about heading to LML too, From Saskatoon. Wasn't sure if etters would be ok to fish or maybe spend a little more time driving and head to wee-too. I have never fished there and don't really know what is good.

Thought I would set up tip ups for pike and jig for walleye. What's better fishing at etters?

I cannot comment as ive only been to Etters twice now. I think it really depends on where you set up....ive seen walleye ...pike ..perch ...and burbs come out at Etters straight out in front of the launch....there is a hump out in front and i witnessed a family do real well there.
